Tech Community

Discover tech meetups, developer communities, and startup groups in your city.

TechMeetups.io is a multi-city hub for people who still want to show up in a room. It indexes community groups, meetups, and conferences worth going to across 11 U.S. metros — plus the remote jobs for the nights you can’t. Everything under the hood is automated. The editorial call — whether a thing is worth your Tuesday night — stays human.

Nine scheduled workflows keep it alive between visits. Monday is the busy one. 8am UTC: auto-discover new Meetup and Luma groups per city. 9am: scrape events across 107 tracked groups. 10am: draft a weekly roundup per city — what’s on, what the weather’s doing, which remote jobs hit overnight.

Mon/Wed/Fri 2pm: a national long-form piece — 1,500 to 2,000 words on something happening across the network. Tue/Thu 2pm: 11 city-specific pieces, 800 to 1,200 words each, tuned to the local beat. Jobs sync twice daily across eight APIs and commit on diff — the Git history stays readable. Conferences pull monthly from Confs.tech, Eventbrite, and Luma.
